How is it determined what videographers I will have on my wedding day?
Firefly is owned by Maurice & Carrie, and they do all the filming as well as the editing. If you have Firefly capturing part or all of your prep, Carrie is typically with the girls, while Maurice hangs with the guys.
Do I have to commit to a specific package in order to secure the day?
Not at all! We understand that it's hard to determine coverage until you have a firm timeline of your day, which usually seems to come together about a month before the wedding day. We will guarantee our current packages/rates as they are when you sign the engagement letter, so you can make a more informed decision on coverage when the time is right for you. Along with a signed engagement letter, we ask for a non-refundable deposit of $200 that can be paid by check, credit card, or PayPal.
Do you film Catholic ceremonies?
We film any ceremony at any location! We understand that some videography companies do not film weddings at Catholic churches because of restrictions. However, we have never had any issue with restrictions or limitations on where we can be. During the ceremony, we typically have one person in the back of the church (or the balcony if one is available/accessible), and the other person is on the ground on the groom's side during the Processional, but moves to the far side as soon as the bride walks down the aisle. We would never want to be on the alter, or anywhere in the way during the ceremony, as
